This photograph pays homage to the legacy of Lilly Reich’s work and her influence on Mies Van der Rohe. The photographs was captured in the reflection on the exterior glass entry wall of Carr Chapel.

Much of American Architecture is monochromatic in nature. This photograph celebrates the process of preservation as an older building’s rebirth brings forth a colorful textile blossom.

Location : Idea Shop, Illinois Institute of Technology campus.

The 3D printing of digital models is an opportunity to soften rigid architecture typologies. This photograph focuses upon the appearance of the roof as a lightweight veil, providing shelter and representing gravity’s forces.
